ESPN: FLY FISHING AMERICA

In 2006 a group of us made an excursion down western Montana's Bitterroot River for ESPN's Fly Fishing America show. The production crew did a two-part cable television series, "Fire & Water," which first aired in 2006 and has been subsequently repeated.

 

Charlie Palmer, a former Missoula smokejumper, is an assistant professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Montana - and one of my regular fishing partners.
